hmmm- i think minor extraction problems around the hair [also on the character
on the right- a couple spots not extracted]
but i think I would like to see the sliding doors in a touch more focus, because
right now only the scans are noticable and whats in front of them is blurry-
making it appear flat.
hmmm- great start- my only advice is around the face, maybe hardening the edges
on the hand and neck, because the face is as such but the rest is blurred-
making his upper body melt into the background and not feel
incorporated-
I think making the angle there the focal point is a good step
your extraction is really well done, but I think one piece of advice I could
give you is to work on the stock image in the background more- currently its a
realistic background and an animated scan= not incorporated. I don't know what
program you are using, but usually using a median filter, or dilating the edges
can give it a cartoony-effect- hope that helps
you've got a good start, but I would like to see the extraction cleaner on the
scan- and she's in a front position and the background is perceived at a
different angle- I'd suggest looking at some pictures of people standing
straight in view and see how the landscape folds down behind them
hmm- not bad extraction- but the scan could use some fixing up- looks
grainy/blurry in comparison to the sleek reflective background- incorporation is
key
I love the analogous colour palette, mixed with the scans triad palette- not
overbearing and just crisp!
great work, I think the background really adds some excitement and movement to
the solid static figure- this deserves a proposing for a highlight
i think the only thing is that i agree with you on the scan/bg idea- maybe
consider retouching it since amano uses such delicate lines, the harsh bold
lines in the background almost clash with the scans- maybe making them more
sharper by creating a vector overtop of it and crsp up the lines on the pants
mostly, and some on the face- either the scans or the backgrounds [making it
more delicate in the lines] to match, will make this piece much more effective
than it already is
oh wow- this is great! and its dedicated to me [dies]
I love this character! once again, your talent amazes me- and I must say, the
colouring is fantastic! o_o
to the critique- the proportions are esquisite, especially in the leg area with
all of the chains and belts- everything is where it should be- real depth and
just great
his eyes are piercing but somewhat friendly to me- must be the green
First off, the background is not only immaculate, its crisp, clean- full of
motion and interest-the colours makes the scan pop out in such a cool graphical
way, and it is just perfectly incorporated with the overal mood- a great
background for this scan- a scenary would never do justice.
text is well incorporated, texture is fantastic ... i think the best part, as most of your wallpapers
is the emotion taken from it- very hot, dark and agressive- perfect for the
series great work as always
